Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the mechanical design team, robot engineers, and sales department to generate proposals that meet customer requirements
Communicate with vendors and customers as part of the overall sales process
Design concepts for cell layouts, reach studies, cycle time estimates, simulations, robot and component selection, and safety systems
Provide technical content and generate proposals with competitive pricing estimates
Required Qualifications:
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline
At least 4 years of experience in estimating and/or implementing industrial robot systems
Experience in robot cell concepts, design, safety, robot selection (reach and payload), end effector design, fixtures, simulations, PLCs, machine vision, and conveyance systems
Proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation software such as ROBOGUIDE
Skills & Knowledge:
Excellent communication and writing skills
Comfortable in customer-facing roles
Strong collaboration skills with colleagues and vendors
Travel: Estimated at 3-5%
Salary: 95K-120K
