We are looking for a skilled PLC Automation Project Engineer to join our team. If you have experience designing and commissioning industrial automation controls and are looking to advance your career in automation systems integration, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform engineering, machine calculations, programming, and configuration for the design and implementation of control systems
Write ladder logic and structured text PLC programs to control pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic devices, as well as motor starters, VFDs, and servo motion control
Design and program HMIs, SCADA systems, custom data collection systems, and other information systems
Design electrical schematics and panel layouts using ePlan
Design, document, implement, and validate machine safety systems, including performing risk assessments, creating safety reports, and writing safety validation plans
Research and implement modern technologies such as Industrial IoT/I4.0 for machine and motion control
Commission, start up, and troubleshoot complex control systems on the shop floor and/or at customer sites
Required Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related field
At least 4 years of experience in designing, programming, and commissioning PLC systems
Experience with PLC and HMI systems, particularly Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens
Experience with VFDs and motion control
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with manufacturing information systems such as Ignition or Wonderware
Knowledge of Ethernet/IP and other industrial networks
Familiarity with machine vision systems and data collection technologies (e.g., barcode, RFID)
Travel: Estimated 20-25%

Salary: 100K-130K
