A growing engineering services company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support a variety of automated manufacturing equipment at industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, and thrive in a customer-facing service environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair automated industrial manufacturing equipment at client sites
- Provide technical support and on-site or remote training to customers
- Assist in optimizing equipment performance and manufacturing processes
- Qualifications:
- Comfortable with a field-based work style, including daily travel to local clients and occasional regional travel
- Strong customer-service mindset, with the ability to support clients during urgent production downtimes
- Proven experience installing, troubleshooting, and testing mechanical, electrical, andhydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals
Education Requirements:
Associate degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering, or a related field
Alternatively, relevant technical certifications or equivalent hands-on experience
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range:
$50,000 – $120,000, based on experience level
